Robert Therrien
President
Rob Therrien, President of The Melanson Company, has grown up in the business and is a 3rd generation roofer with nearly 50 years of experience in the roofing industry. Growing up in the family business Rob has held nearly every position within the company having both field and office experience.
Rob is an Eagle Scout. He graduated Cum Laude with a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit. Networking within the roofing industry Rob is a former President of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the Northeast Roofing Contractors Association, and the Roofing Industry Alliance. He became involved in industry work in 1988 he has and continues to serve on numerous technical, legal, finance and educational committees. He has received the Piper (NRCA) and Carr (NERCA) awards for his service to the industry. Locally he has been on numerous boards and often held leadership positions in Rotary, Cheshire Health Foundation, Historical Society of Cheshire County, Takodah YMCA, Monadnock United Way, and Keene Downtown Housing Corporation to name a few.
With his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching his grandchildren’s various sports and activities, traveling, and being outdoors.
Keith Hanatow
Vice President
Keith Hanatow is the Vice President of the Keene Division of The Melanson Company, with 19 years of experience in the roofing industry. Throughout his career, Keith has held key roles in Project Management and Estimating, where he developed expertise in project execution, cost estimation, and team coordination. His leadership ensures high standards of quality and safety in every project.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Plymouth State University. Under his guidance, the Roofing Division has successfully executed large-scale projects and continues to grow.
Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling—activities that reflect his passion for teamwork and adventure.
Justin Cox
Operation Manager
Justin Cox is our Operation’s Manager, bringing nearly 18 years of roofing industry leadership experience to our area leading field staff. Tasked with wearing numerous hats, some of his responsibilities include scheduling, quality control, project coordination and crew efficiency. Justin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Studies from Keene State College and has been an integral part of branding our “safety first” workplace culture and upholding a high standard of integrity within our team.
When off the clock, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, staying physically active, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors!
Matt Bond
Project Manager
Matt Bond has been a valued member of The Melanson Company for 34 years, bringing his expertise and leadership to a variety of roles, including estimating, project management, and general manager. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona and an Architectural Engineering degree from New Hampshire Technical Institute.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time in nature through hiking and backpacking, swimming, woodworking, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
Dan McBrien
Project Manager
Dan McBrien is a project manager with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career in custom carpentry and transitioned into various construction management roles before joining Melanson. Over the years, Dan has combined his carpentry expertise with strong project management and estimating skills to successfully oversee a wide range of projects.
When he’s not working, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors through hiking and biking. He’s also passionate about music and enjoys creating his own, blending his creative talents with his technical background.
JP Cavolo
Project Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the roofing industry, JP Cavolo has built a strong foundation, starting as a roof technician before transitioning into project management and estimating roles. Over the years, JP has developed a comprehensive understanding of roofing systems and project execution, allowing for effective leadership and seamless coordination in managing complex projects.
Outside of work, JP is passionate about spending time with family and is an avid sports enthusiast. Whether coaching, officiating, or simply enjoying the game, JP thrives in the sports community and loves staying active.
Matt Therrien

Matt Therrien grew up immersed in the roofing industry as a 4th generation roofer, starting his career as a roof and solar system installer over 20 years ago. Through dedication and hands-on experience, he worked his way up the ranks to become a Project Manager and Estimator. With expertise in both residential and commercial roofing, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. His deep understanding of the industry ensures that he delivers high-quality results, from initial estimates to project completion.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast and coach. He also loves snowmobiling and hunting, making the most of his outdoor adventures.
Taylor Letourneau
Project Manager
Taylor Letourneau a recent graduate from Keene State College with a degree in Construction Management. With a strong foundation in project management, estimating, and CAD design, Taylor brings fresh perspectives and technical expertise to every project.
A sports enthusiast and golfer, Taylor enjoys staying active and competitive. He’s passionate about using cutting-edge technology to streamline processes and deliver high-quality results.
Billy Hughes
Service Manager
Bill Hughes is the Service Manager for the Melanson company with 33 years of experience in the roofing industry. Bill started his career with the Melanson company in 1995 as a roof technician and then moved to service foreman. Bill became the Service manager in 2003 where he handles customer service needs. Bill enjoys delivering exceptional quality service to our customers and working with their individual needs. His experience in the service department has led him to a diversified knowledge of many roof systems.
Outside of work Bill enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, snowshoeing, and hiking in the woods.
Brad Carson
Safety Director
Brad Carson is the Health and Safety Director at the Melanson Company, with over 20 years of experience in the roofing industry. Brad started his career with Melanson in the warehouse and field while earning his degree. He took over as the company Safety Director in 2010 after graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety from Keene State College. His experience and knowledge in the field has helped him find solutions for the everyday challenges keeping his team safe.
In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family, camping, hunting, and fishing.
Brandi Bernier
Roofing Administration
After earning her Associate Degree in Accounting in 2004, Brandi Bernier joined The Melanson Company as Roofing Administrator. In this role, Brandi plays a key part in facilitating the administrative functions across multiple locations within The Melanson Companies. She provides vital support to the roofing service team, ensuring that customers receive a seamless and exceptional experience. Brandi takes great pride in her commitment to delivering top-notch service to all customers of The Melanson Company.
Outside of the office, Brandi enjoys hiking, chasing sunrises, and planning her next adventure with family and friends.
